City officials distribute
783 PhilHealth cards

Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia and Vice Mayor Jude Thaddeus Sayson distributed 783 Philhealth cards to residents of Brgys. Villamonte and Brgy. 41, a City Hall press release said.

Leonardia and Sayson congratulated the recipients who will no longer have to pay hospital bills in government-run hospitals. Leonardia enjoined the pregnant women to avail of the services of the Lying-in Clinic at the City Health Compound.

Philhealth president Eduardo Banzon, who, incidentally also hails from Bacolod, was present during the distribution. He reminded the Philhealth card holders that their cards have a duration of 2 years and that they should have them laminated with their pictures, and kept in a safe place.

Today, the city officials will go to Brgy. Mansilingan for more Philhealth card distribution.*
