The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas-Negros Oriental and the Dumaguete Press Club conducted a medical mission yesterday at the Press Club Building, Rizal Boulevard, Dumaguete.

Around 300 residents availed of free medical services, 100 of them from Barangay Tinago, Dumaguete where the club building is located, local KBP adviser Glynda Descuatan said.

Drs. Francis Hope Yap, Helen Teves and Rolando Regalado, along with doctors from Silliman University Medical Center Foundation rendered medical services, assisted by nursing students from SU.

Descuatan said medical supplies and medicines were provided by San Miguel Corporation through Girlie Cruz-Garces.

Ely Dejaresco of KBP also said blood-letting activity was in support of the project of the Philippine National Red Cross-Negros Oriental chapter.*MA
