Bacolod-born shotmaker Mia Piccio helped fuel the Philippines' title romp in the Thailand Ladies Open at the President Gold and Conference Center in Bangkok.

Piccio carded a 75 yesterday to complement Dottie Ardina's 69 as the Philippines won the team competition. Cyna Rodriguez's 76 did not count. Ardina has a piece of the lead after rounds of 71 and 69 with Anya Tanpinco (74-70) five shots behind. Regina De Guzman is a shot behind the lead with a 69 and 72, six strokes ahead of Piccio. *CPT
