LNA7 cage event
draws 10 squads

Ten teams will vie for top honors in the LNA7 Sports Foundation Open Inter-Barkada Basketball Championship that will take off on Sunday at the newly-refurbished West Negros College Gym in Bacolod City.

The tournament, which will adopt the modified pasarelle system, will feature the best club teams in the city led by former Tan Kek Pin Cup champion Bacolod Basketball Club, Probac and Fil-Sino Athletic Club.

The 10 teams will be divided into two brackets with BBC, Fil-Sino, Toyota, Provincial Budget Office. Bad Boyz composing bracket A. The other group is composed of R.G. Purefoods, NOBC, Po's Marketing, Probac and Nhoj's.

The top three teams from each group will advance to the round-robin quarterfinals with the four squads with the best records moving into the semifinals. The finalists will play in a best-of-three series for the crown. *PP
