Brgy. 1, Condura Ladies
bring home BREDCO Cup

Barangay I Amor and Condura Ladies/ASSFBI reigned supreme in their respective divisions of the 2007 Masskara Invitational Open Trio Bowling Tournament BREDCO Cup at the New Top's Millennium Plaza in Bacolod City recently.

The Sammy Gaitan's led Brgy. I pincrushers defeated ESD Triple-C of Fred Reyes in the men's final, 361-358 to bring home the title, while Condura overpowered ON-BACIBA, 349-342, in the women's category.

Carrying the colors for Brgy. I were Roger Flores, Boy Tisoy Villanueva and Rene Buencochillo, while Sylvia Del Rosario, Leah Javier, Juliet Regollo and Nellie Rendon saw action for the ladies champ.

Playing for Triple C were Cesar Sumaylo, Alan Baer and Steve Ramos.

Irnie Diaz' Sharp I and Romulo Ramos' Mulo Aircon Services settled for second and third runners-up, respectively.

Lady Dragon I and Lady Dragon II salvaged for second and third, in the women's bracket.

Meanwhile, the two-day Bago City Bowlers Association Encuentro Sa El Cinco de Noviembre Quintet Bowling Championship fires off Nov.3 at the Plaza Arcade Bowling Alley in Bago City .

BACBA president Joel Basiao said action will start at 2 p.m.

Guaranteed prize at stake is P10,000 and a trophy for the champion, while the first and second runners-up will be receiving P7,500 and P5,000. Third runner-up will be getting P2,500.

The tournament is five-game series event, where the top four squads will vie for the championship in an up-the-ladder knock-out match.*HLG
