New members for 2012-2013 of the Negros Occidental Rainbow Foundation Inc. were sworn in by their president, Agnes Cuenca, recently in Bacolod City.

Director Gilda Puey led the invocation and secretary Emma Lipa the Pambansang Awit.

Judge Lorna Demonteverde inducted the following officers for year 2012-2013 of the foundation; Agnes Cuenca - president, Ma. Socorro Monfort - vice president, Emma Lipa - secretary, Betty Jarder - assistant secretary, Mila Chiu - treasurer, Fely Tampinco - assistant treasurer, and Manuela Cruz – auditor.

The foundation is the umbrella organization of the Philippine Band of Mercy, founded by Julie Benedicto who was also its first president.

It has sponsored several programs such as medical and medical missions, harelip operations, and distribution of eye glasses through the help of Dr. Dang Filasol.

Guests were presented gifts and awards. Vice president Soc Monfort, gave the closing remarks. while program was emceed by Dr. Nena Nolido.
