BFCCCII delivers assistance

The Bacolod Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. with 27 officers and members of the Chamber Fire Brigade held a relief operation for Sendong flood victims in the towns of Valencia and Sibulan recently, a BFCCCI press release said.

Coordination was made by the Chamber with Gilbert Uymatiao of the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Dumaguete City and Julito Kwan – Assistant Fire Marshall of Chinese Volunteer Fire Brigade of Dumaguete City.

Also present to receive the donations were Sibulan Mayor Marcela Bartoces, and Valencia Mayor Enrique Gonzales.

A total of 857 packages of relief goods, 500 pairs of slippers, bottles of purified water and clothes were distributed in the two towns, the press release said.
