‘Worldbex Cebu expos
post record attendance’

The largest expositions in the country held a massive showcase in Cebu City with record audience attendance, a press release from Worldbex Services International, said.

World-class trade shows were presented when the Philippine Building and Construction Exposition, Cebu Auto Show, and the Cebu Foods and Beverage Exposition – took over the Cebu International Convention Center recently.

Worldbex Services International gathered the best suppliers and exhibitors in building, construction, motoring, and food and beverage industries for the grandest comeback of the highly anticipated trade shows in the South, with the theme “Construct, Calibrate, Crave”, the press release said.

Entrance fees and seminars were free of charge. Visitors also got the chance to win prizes from East West Bank such as iPad 2 units, Toshiba 32” LCD TVs, and Pioneer DVD Players, all of which were raffled away during the event, the press release said.

PHILBEX has been active in providing an extensive exhibit of innovations and technologies available to the building and construction markets of Visayas and Mindanao, it said.

With more than 100 booths offering the latest technologies and products for the construction industry, the show committed to provide the South with more choices for their needs, the press release said. WSI also organized Cebu Auto Show as it showcased the latest models and best car brands at special deals. The car show highlighted more than 50 set up cars and vintage cars all in display at the CICC halls, the press release said.

The only food and beverage show of its kind, the press release said CEFBEX, addressed the ever-increasing demands of the food service and hospitality industries in the region. Suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, retailers, importers, exporters and consultants came together to promote a diverse range of food products, beverages and related technologies from around the world, all under one roof, it added.*
