JSY Transport in semis
of Fil-Sino basketball tilt

JSY Transport secured a place in the semi-finals by defeating top seed Organic Solutions, 64-48, while JSY Countertrade beat Jast Enterprises, 78-87, in the last day of the elimination round in Class B of the 2012 Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade 1st Conference Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

The victory by JSY Transport eliminated JSY Countertrade.

Organic Solutions finished the elimination round on top of the standings at 6-2 and will have twice-to-beat advantage when they meet JSY Transport on Monday in the semifinals.

GMA network starts countdown
on Pacquiao vs. Bradley match

The countdown to the much-awaited face-off between pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao and his undefeated opponent Timothy Bradley continues as GMA-7 and GMA News TV (GNTV) give viewers an all-access pass to the latest updates on the ongoing preparations of both camps, a press release from the network said.

In the days leading to the fight, GMA and GMA News TV bring the latest insider news, expert commentaries, and fearless predictions on who will bring home the WBO Welterweight crown via daily five-minute bulletins that currently air on both channels.

Hosted by Chino Trinidad, the “Countdown to Pacquiao-Bradley World Welterweight Championship” capsules will air on GMA from 5:45 to 5:50 p.m. until June 8, and on June 9 within Pacquiao’s own program, Manny Many Prizes.

Hulguin captures title in
Singles bowling tilt

Nonoy Hulguin of RJ Stars/NPBC ruled in the 1st Juna’s Internet & Gaming Haven Non-rated Singles Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Hulguin scored 233 pinfalls in two outings.

He scored 129 pinfalls in the first game and 104 in the final match, but still managed to win with a two-pin advantage over Hernand Garciniego, also of NPBC with 123 and 108, for 231 total.

Cecil Ramon Silverio, of ASSFBI Silverado was second runner-up with 225 balls.
