BCNHS Class '89 pace
Fellowship bowling tilt

Bacolod City National High School Batch '89 took an early lead in the opening of the premiere division, with NOHS Batch '97 and NOHS '70-71 also heading their r categories in the Triangular Fellowship Bowlfest For Unity 2012 at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Headed by Nonoy Hulguin and Maila Balayo, the BCNHS '89 scored 1,508 pinfalls in Class A, with NOHS '73-74 headed by Davies stalwart Romel Jover is in close second with 1,504.

BCHS '79 has 1,466; BCHS '72-76, 1,459; NOHS ‘82/86/89, 1,425; BCNHS '85, 1,419; NOHS '66-67, 1,398; BCHS '73, 1,328; DLNHS '75, 1,379, and DLNHS ‘71/72/79 Combined, 1,299.

NOHS '97 led by Karl Barbosa topped the team cast in category B with 1,542.

The other competitors in the same bracket are NOHS 2000-Up with 1,487; NOHS '85, 1,447; DLNHS '73, 1,440; BCHS '74, 1,432; BCNHS '90, 1,415; DLNHS '77, 1,409; NOHS '68, 1,400; NOHS Golden, 1,358, and BCNHS '81, 1,239.

In bracket C, NOHS '70-71 led Bonnie Ta-ala and Vita de Paula is leading with 1,456, followed by NOHS '95 led by Essho Garcia with 1,447.

Also competing in the same department are DLNHS '78 with 1,424; BCHS '67, 1,369; BCNHS '86, 1,307; NOHS '80, 1,288; DLNHS '92, 1,264; BCHS '68, 1,260; NOHS '99, 1,248, and BCHS '75, 1,233.

NOHS '73-74 records in the team highest single and triple are intact with 560 and 1,579.

In the individual contest, NOHS '73-74 bet Hernand Garciniego kept his record in highest pinning at 94, and Norman Pineda of BCHS '72-76 Combined holds the men's single and triple record with 161 and 386.

BCNHS '89 Maila Balayo recorded the women's pinning with 92, and Carmen Romales of BCHS '74 in single and triple with 128 and 324, respectively.

Meanwhile, the St. Joseph High School – La Salle Fellowship Bowling Tournament resumes today at the Lopue's East Bowling Center in Bacolod City .

Batch '69 kept its hold on the No.1 spot with an average of 511.65 per round in the 22-team pack.

Batch '80-81 Combined and Batch '71 have second and third with 16,077 and 15,969 apiece.

Rounding out the top 10 squads are Batch '84, B '85, B'68, B'75, B'73, B '74, B'78, and B'83.*HLG
