NOPSSCEA elects
new set of officers

The Negros Occidental Schools Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association elected its new Board of Trustees during the recent NOPSSCEA Foundation Day and General Assembly of school administrators at the USLS Eco park in Granada, Bacolod City, a press release from the group said.

The newly-elected board then elected among themselves the executive board composed of Dr. Gereon Cabarles of Colegio de San Agustin-Bacolod as president, Dr. Oscar Suarez of West Negros University, vice president, Serah Grace Arcolas, Secretary; Bob Bergante, treasurer; and Ted Anuales of Brookside Garden, auditor. Dr. Rosario de Guzman is a member the Board.

Chairman for the various Committee are, for Cultural affairs - Fr. Gene Tagueban, SDB; Education - Dr. Ervie Gallespen; Chairman Community Outreach - Pastor Edwin Madlangbayan; Socio –Civic Affairs - Ethel Ferrer; Resource management - Nilda Monge, Organizational advancement - Dr. Elizabeth Salabas and Carlos Legaspi, Jr. - Press relations, the press release said.

The new officers will hold office for two years and their duties will start in June, it added. *
