Expired food packets
disposed of, probe continues

BY JUDY F. PARTLOW & MARICAR ARANAS

The Food and Drugs Administration in Negros Oriental yesterday disposed of the expired foodstuff found floating off Silliman Beach in Barangay Bantayan, Dumaguete City, several days after the earthquake.

These included powdered milk products like Bear Brand, Nestogen, Carnation nonfat and Alpine, Cerelac, Milo and Nescafe instant coffee, all manufactured by Nestle Philippines, with the Island Merchants Corp. as authorized distributor.
