CSC Fun Run reset

The Civil Service Commission-Negros Occidental Field Office R.A.C.E to Serve Fun Run has been reset from Sept. 22 to Sept. 30, and will start 5:30 a.m. from the Provincial Capitol Lagoon and Park, a press release said.

Memorandum Circular No. 8 of 2012 of the CSC, enjoins all government offices from the provincial offices, bureaus, agencies, government owned and controlled corporation, local water districts, government financial institutions and state universities and colleges to take part in the celebration of the 112th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary this September.

Registration fee for the fun run is P100 per participant and registration forms are available at the CSC Field Office Negros Occidental, PAC Building, Aguinaldao Street, Bacolod City, but will only be accepted until September 21 at the CSC Field Office Negros Occidental, the press release said.

The proceeds of the Fun Run will go to the Pondong Pamana ng Lingkod Bayan for families of civil servants who died in the line of duty, and the Bantay Bata Negros.

Certificates of participation will be issued to government employees after the Fun Run.

Government employees who participate in the RACE to Serve II Fun Run will be entitled to half-day compensatory time-off in consonance with the CSC Memorandum Circular No. 11 series of 2012, the press release added. *
