A talk show on the rights of youth with disabilities will be conducted by the Edsa People Power Commission-Negros Oriental Council today at the Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, a press release from organizers said.

EPPC-NOC chair Rolando Villamero Jr. said the forum, in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Negros Oriental, and the SU College of Education Student Organization, will discuss the rights of such youth under international and local legislations.

The activity aims to create a network between and among sectors to work with youth with disabilities to empower them so they can access opportunities available in the community, the press release also said.

A recognition ceremony for EPPC-NOC will also be held, led by Commissioner Cesar Sarino of the EDSA People Power Commission, the press release added.*
