Benjamin Calderon This week saw Robert Dy and myself miss our tai chi exercise class in dutifully obedience to Angeline Dy's instructions that her father represents her in the inauguration of ACC Tech Solutions, Inc.'s Talibon, Bohol Branch and myself as traveling companion with the task of making sure Robert behaves well during the trip. I am unable attest to his behavior or whereabouts when he was out of coverage. It was truly a joyful experience to spend two hours traveling to the first class Municipality of Talibon appreciating the scenery one's eyes sees for the first time.

No doubt about it we have a beautiful country of islands sprinkled as an archipelago with rivers and hills, some of which are known to be of chocolate, rice and corn fields in various stages of productivity, as well as, idleness and the many houses being built along the smoothly paved highway that indicate a growing middleclass in the Province of Bohol. My traveling companions agreed that driving through the countryside was an opportunity to see and learn more about the state of agriculture and get find indicators of how our fellow countrymen were doing.

The inauguration of the second branch of the technological solutions providing enterprise was a clear show of commitment by the young entrepreneurs to be more accessible to growing communities and provide an alternative to computer technology software, hardware and after sales service needs.

Talibon Mayor Juanario Itim was pleased to cut the ribbon with Mr. Dy as the development marked technology was made available to his constituents who now need not travel to Tagbilaran City nor Cebu City for their personal computer needs. He remarked that the Local Government Unit is expected to significantly benefit from savings in travel and time with the now available after sales services provided by the branch. Executive Martin Laborte was also truly hopeful that the decision to build the branch would prove to be a contributing endeavor toward sustainable success for the company. Father Rey Pernia of the Catholic Church lead everyone in acknowledging that the answers to our hopes, dreams and prayers all come from our Loving Father.

As we took part of the bounty before us, our conversation with Father Pernia turned to the coming elections and the many developing stories related to the political exercise. We both were interested in what the bigger picture had in store for Pacman, the boxer. We kept our smiles to ourselves knowing that one of the biggest challenges in life is handling success. Talking about success made me remember a text message sent to me that should make a point. It read, "Pls. Patronized pirated Filipino DVDs so the movie industry will die and we will no long have actors and actresses running for public office." As always, the choice is ours.

Let us end with an attempt to make you smile and dedicate this anecdote to golfers still working on their game. Tiger Woods drives his BMW to an Irish gas station. The pump attendant who knows nothing about golf greets him: "Good Morning to ya sir!" Tiger Woods nods, bends forward to pick up the nozzle and tees fall from his shirt pocket. Attendant: What are those? Tiger: These are Tees. Attendant: What on God's earth are they for? Tiger: For resting my balls when I am driving. Attendant: Bloody Hell! BMW Thinks of everything!*
