More than 50 producers and manufacturers in Western Visayas are
showcasing their original and unique product creations at the Panubli-on
Regional Trade Fair at SM City Bacolod until October 21.
The fair, participated by Negros Occidental, Aklan, Capiz,
Guimaras and Iloilo producers, is being organized by the Department
of Trade and Industry in cooperation with the Association of Negros
Producers. Being sold at the North and South wing booths are food
delicacies; gifts and houseware products; paper products; cloth
and fabric; garments; Christmas décor; native handicrafts; and home
furnishings.
Products of about 20 producers are featured in the fair - pandan
and ceramic creations from Anaware; ceramic décor from Obra Negrense;
coco candle holders from Babylan's; candle creations from Kindlecraft;
fiber glass and coco twig lamp creations from Hacienda Crafts;
T-shirt designs from AZATRI; fine fabric and piña woven cloth
from Reycon's; resin lamp and houseware products from Silay Export;
delicacies from Jarvi's; and muscovado sugar from Alter Trade And
Hawaiian Philippine Company.
Local government producers from the cities of Bago, Sagay and
San Carlos and towns of Hinigaran, Pulupandan and Toboso are also
selling their products.
Also showcasing their products are nine producers from Iloilo;
eight, from Guimaras; three from Capiz; and 11, from Aklan.*
