Sharp bowlers keep
No. 1 spot in tourney

Sharp continue to lead in the premiere division, with Metro Sales and Condura having the same privilege in their respective categories in the Supplier’s Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Anchored by Irne Diaz, Sharp tallied a total of 7,294 pinfalls, with one more game left.

Rey Oreta’s Metro Sales lead in bracket B with 7,001, while Condura ASSFBI Ladies led by Juliet Regollo is No.1 spot in the women’s category with 7,521.

With Sharp in the Class A bracket are Kami Mga Hubin of Robbie Elegado, 7,131; Davies A of Edgar Jerez and Romel Jover, 7,017; Pat Mendoza’s ESD Electronz, 7,016; Silverado ASSFBI, 6,903; NPBC RJ Stars/LJP of Steve Po, 6,895; Davies B, 6,863; Amor ASSFBI, 6,859; TNT Construction, 6,850, and Mulo Car Aircon Services, 6,790.

Lined up with Metro Sales are Alimonon Steel of Melot Alimon, 6,910; ESD Electronz I, 6,892; St. Joseph Alumni Association I, 6,877; Davies C, 6,878; FRM Marketing, 6,872; Supplier/BCO, 6,759; St. Jo II, 6,618, and Sanyo, 6,577.

In the distaff side, Cecil Biendo’s Tiger Eye I placed second with 7,229 followed by Tiger Eye II with 7,007.

Completing the pack are Panasonic, 6,907; Kami Mga Gwapa, 6,811; Retro, 5,974, Davies II, 6,763, and Racahe, 6,720.

The championship is set on April 20 starting at 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, Sylvia Del Rosario of Condura is the top qualifier in the master bowler competition in the women’s bracket.

Del Rosario toppled 114.33 averaged per game in 15 matches to lead nine others for the individual crown.

Davies Fusion reliable Precy Pillo took the second spot with 104.93.

The other contenders for the post are Lea Javier (Condura), 104.62; Cecile Biendo (Tiger Eye), 104.56; Carmen Romales (Tiger Eye), 102.05; Maila Balayo (Davies Fusion), 101.39; Juliet Regollo (Condura), 100.76; Cheryl Ramos (Tiger Eye), 98.63; Vilma Robles (Davies F), 98.25, and Stella Ongsingco (Tiger Eye), 98.22.
