Representatives of two recruitment agencies and a hotel in Manila will conduct their special recruitment activity in Bacolod City starting Saturday until next week, Moises de la Cruz, manager of the Public Employment Service Office-Bacolod, said yesterday.

YWA Human Resource Corporation Inc. personnel started their initial interview Monday and will continue until tomorrow at the PESO.

Those who qualify will be interviewed by the employer on Saturday and Sunday at Business Inn, de la Cruz said.

The agency needs welders, heavy equipment drivers, engineers, pipe-fitters, accountants, crane operators, welding inspectors and foremen, iron workers, steel fabricators and fixers, carpenters, and land surveyors for Saud Arabia, he also said.

Meanwhile, Human resource personnel of Solaire Resort and Casino Hotel will have its recruitment activity on today at L’Fisher Hotel to look for hotel workers. The hotel will open next year at the new Entertainment City of PAGCOR in Parañaque, de la Cruz said.

Representatives of Placewell International will also conduct their initial interview on July 23 and 24 for Saudi Arabia. They need skilled workers and nurses.

Applicants have to bring their résumé, transcript of records, employment and training certificates, passport (if available), 2x2 pictures, and other documents.

De la Cruz also encourages applicants to wear formal attire during employers’ interview. Slippers and wearing of shorts are not allowed, he added. *LTG
