Ayala Land Inc. opened the last batch of lots at the Ayala North Point in Talisay City Saturday with officials pouring in the last amount of concrete on its latest project in Negros, The District-North Point, last week.
The project is the main retail component of the company’s more than 200 hectare North Point mixed-used community development.
The ceremony was led by Ayala Land Senior Vice President and VisMin Group head Emilio Tumbocon, and Vice President and Commercial Business Group head Rowena Tomeldan, with Negros Occidental Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr., Talisay Mayor Eric Saratan, and Vice Mayor Neil Lizares as guests of honor.
Tumbocon said they are very excited with the growth that The District-North Point aims to bring to the community in Talisay City and the province of Negros Occidental.
North Point is Ayala Land’s master planned, mixed-use development representing their largest investment in Western Visayas, he added.
Marañon, thanked Ayala Land for its confidence in Negros and for the investments the company is pouring into the province.
Meanwhile, Ayala Land VisMin area manager Therese Borromeo said 95 percent of the total lots with Ayala North Point sold, thus prompting the launch of the second tranche of its phase four development, The Gardens.
Tranche two is part of the four-themed park at The Gardens namely; Aroma, which is a garden filled with scents of lush flowers and fruit-bearing trees; Vista, a jogger’s trail lined with trees and shrubs; Terra, where the flow of energy is invigorating; and Aria, a calming Zen place.*CGS
