The Alliance of Tour Guides of Occidental Negros is joining the 3rd National Tour Guides Convention 2012 on June 17 and 18 in Davao City and will promote Negros Occidental sceneries and attractions, ATON president Maricar Dabao, said yesterday.
Dabao said the convention is another gateway for them to sell and promote Negros to other provinces.
Negros Occidental has numerous attractions like organic farms, beaches, and resorts that gained popularity to local tourists and foreigners, Dabao also said.
She said they will also bring local food products of Bacolod City like the piyaya and other products that Negros Occidental is promoting.
The convention will discuss handling effective tours, promotion, improving tour guiding skills, and a free visit at Eden Nature Park and Resort, she said. Joining her at the conference are Bambi Borromeo, RT Lacson, and Jennylind Cordero.*LTG
