10 teams see action in
Probac/LNA7 cagefest
After ruling the recent USLS/LNA7 cagefest, the Bacolod Basketball Club seeks to capture the title in the 1st PROBAC/LNA7 Invitational Basketball Tournament that opened Monday at the West Negros University Gym.
Now donning the colors of Toyota Bacolod, BBC faces a tough challenge from nine other teams that are joining the tournament.
In the opening day, Akasya Grill won over Watchmen, while Fortuna prevailed over Angel’s Burger.
| SBP referees The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas will hold a three-day referees clinic on June 29, 30 and July 1, at the West Negros University Gym, a press release from organizers said. SBP provincial director Tony Agustin said the seminar is in line with the SBP’s thrust of development a standard program to improve the level of competitiveness in officiating. The seminar also aims to improve the competence of those who are already in the trade and for SBP to discover fresh talents who will officiate in the most popular sport in the country, the press release said. |
