10 teams see action in
Probac/LNA7 cagefest

After ruling the recent USLS/LNA7 cagefest, the Bacolod Basketball Club seeks to capture the title in the 1st PROBAC/LNA7 Invitational Basketball Tournament that opened Monday at the West Negros University Gym.

Now donning the colors of Toyota Bacolod, BBC faces a tough challenge from nine other teams that are joining the tournament.

In the opening day, Akasya Grill won over Watchmen, while Fortuna prevailed over Angel’s Burger.

Also seeing action in the tournament are Bad Boys, Boston Finance, Sun Cellular, Ink Cream Blitz, and TJ Construction.

Sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, the tournament is under the supervision of tournament commissioner Etoy Zuniega with Felipe Bat-og as referees’ commissioner.

Adopting a single round-robin format, the No. 1 and No. 2 teams earn a twice to beat advantage in the quarterfinals against No. 7 and No. 8 teams.

Games are played Monday to Friday starting at 7 p.m. at the WNU Gym.*NAB
