TESDA to launch
job plan for grads

As part of Technical Education Skills Development Authority aim to achieve inclusive growth through descent and productive work for Filipino people, the TESDA of Negros Occidental and Kabankalan City will launch a program for TVET selected certified TESDA graduates who are officially part of the TESDA Spesyalista Technopreneurship Program or Samahang Spesyalista ng TESDA in Automotive Services in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental, a press release from the agency said.

The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement and Turnover of Toolkits to beneficiaries by TESDA and opening of Contact Center is on April 2, during the launching ceremony.

The project aims to assist the 10 TESDA–Certified Graduates in Automotive Servicing National Competency to form a group and start their self employment enterprise.

TESDA will provide each of them with basic tools to start their service job, the press release said.

The tools will be collectively managed by the group at the Contact Center in a space provided at the Commercial Centers, Bonifacio Street, Kabankalan City, by Mayor Isidro Zayco, Director Lorena Yunque of TESDA Negros Occidental, said.

TESDA has also designated a project coordinator to assist the group in developing their entrepreneurial capability.

Other groupings will be formed by TESDA in collaboration with the Provincial and City Governments and Technical – Vocational Institutions in Negros Occidental within the year for the agencies certified graduates, the press release said.*
