Talisay City to host
PFF summer caravan

To tap more football talents from the countryside, the Philippine Football Federation will hold the PFF Summer Football Caravan 2012 on April 17 – 18 at Carlos Hilado Memorial State College and Talisay Football Field in Talisay City.

Teams from Metro Manila, Iloilo, Negros Oriental, Cebu, and host province Negros Occidental, are expected to join the two-day competition that will be played in eight categories.

It will be a 7-a-side format for 12-Under, 14-Under boys, 16-Under boys and girls, 18-Under boys, and Ladies Open.

Those competing in the 8-Under will have a four-against-four without a goalkeeper format, while the 10-Under age group will have a six-against-six format.

Participating teams will be playing at least four matches in the elimination round, tournament director Warren Concepcion said, adding that registration and assembly of participants will be on April 17, 7 to 8 a.m. at the Talisay City Football Field.

The two-day football caravan in Talisay is in partnership with the City of Talisay and Minulu-an Talisay City Football Club, Concepcion said.*NAB
