The Central Negros Electric Cooperative opened its new collection office at Mabini Street, Bacolod City, yesterday after a mass and blessing.
Its president Arnel Lapore said the renovation was due to the robbery-hold-up incident at their office in March this year.
After the incident, they decided to renovate the entire ground floor to safeguard their collections, and give more convenience to consumers paying their dues there.
PAL slates hiring tour
Philippine Airlines is taking its cabin crew and pilot recruitment tour to Bacolod City November 16 to 18, a press release from PAL said.
The Visayan leg of the PAL job fair covers the cities of Dumaguete, Bacolod and Iloilo.
PAL will accept applicants for cabin crew, as well as pilot positions of Captain, First and Second Officers at Sugarland Hotel, Bacolod City, starting at 8 a.m., the press release said.
CEB expecting
‘lucky’ passenger
Cebu Pacific announced in a press release yesterday that it is set to fly its 70 millionth passenger in the next seven days.
The countdown started yesterday, during the launch of the North Philippine (NorthPhil) Tourism and Travel Expo at the Marquee Mall in Pampanga, where CEB is the official airline partner for the 4th year, the press release said.
CEB kicks off the countdown with a P7 base fare seat sale to any of the airline’s 32 domestic and 19 international destinations.
