The 4th Dumaguete Adventure Marathon was launched recently in the city, a press release from organizers said.

The launching of the off-road marathon, scheduled for November 18, was attended by government officials, sponsors and institutional partners, like Dumaguete Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria, Foundation University president Mira Sinco, Valencia Mayor Enrique Gonzalez, Charles Lim of the Cebu Pacific Air Inc., Ria Malinao of Robinsons Place Dumaguete, Angelo Tiongson of the Provincial Capitol, Darwiza Comedoy of Tierra Alta, PhilRice Science Research specialist Hazel Antonio, and Rolan Lagura of Sun Cellular, the press release also said.

Interested runners may register online at www.DumagueteMarathon.com and choose from the five categories to be contested: the 42-kilometer full marathon, 21-km. half marathon, 10.5-km. quarter marathon, 5km. finisher’s run and the 3km. kiddie run, the press release added.*
