Surprise birthday bash

The Assumption Class '65, barkada of Estela "Being" Fermin Lacson, secretly planned and surprised her on her natal day, with the connivance of husband Serg and their children.

Mary Ann Borromeo, Jennifer Luis, Mary Ann Chan, Jenny Leviste, Luluday Villanueva, Baby Pascual, Baby Girl Fricke, tried all they can to prevent the celebrator from going home. Susie Ortigas, one of the best planners and chef, prepared all the very delicious food prepared in Manila.

Visitors were asked to wear red for good luck. The celebrator was surprised to see us all in one room when she arrived. When she opened the door, everybody sang Happy Birthday. Everybody had a grand time eating, laughing and singing. Missed by everybody was Tess Golez who was down with the flu.

The next day, classmates and friends again decided to see all the beautiful places Negros can offer. To Bebing, more birthdays to celebrate. God Bless.

An ukay-ukay section was also managed by energetic ladies Maricon Consing, Minnie Ruaro, Nan and Token Lizares and the rest of the Damas.

Let's pray for good weather as the MassKara Festival nears its highlights. Also watch out for mall shows this week especially at SM where Bamboo, Parokya ni Edgar and many other bands will perform. Remember: "Correction does much, but encouragement does more."*
