NOPSSCEA season
opens September 14

The 32nd season of the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association will open September 14 at the Colegio de San Agustin-Bacolod.

The sports task force is headed by Anthony Carlo Agustin who is in charge of the opening ceremonies in coordination with the cultural committee chaired by Fr. Jose Generoso Taqueban, SDB.

All NOPSSCEA-member schools are expected to attend the event.

To update the athletic directors and sports moderators of NOPSSCEA-member schools on the details of the opening ceremony, Agustin said he will meet with the group onAugust 24, 2 p.m., at the West Negros University gym.

Also invited to the meeting are tournament managers, technical officiating officials and members of the screening committee, he said.

The sports task force will also discuss the submission of ground rules with the coaches’ conformity, final schedules of games, finalization of the equipment needed, and screening procedure.*NAB
