The Gabriela-Negros and the Anti-Trafficking Legal Advocates Society Inc. will launch the “One Billion Rising: Strike, Dance, Rise” in Bacolod City on Dec. 12 with singer and actress Monique Wilson as guest, Clarizza Dagatan, Gabriela-Negros chairperson, said.

Dagatan said the One Billion Rising is a worldwide initiative of V-Day global movement that aims to end violence against women and girls throughout the world.

ATLAS will also stage the “Run Against Child Traffickers” to mark the International Day Against Child Trafficking on Dec. 12, starting at 5:30 a.m. at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon and Park, where the One Billion Rising dance will also be held, she added.
