A suspected drug pusher  was arrested by police intelligence operatives during a raid at his house in Dumaguete City Sunday.

Police reports said  intelligence operatives swooped down on the house of   Arnel Misamis, of legal age, in Upper Luke Wright Street in Dumaguete.

The police confiscated two transparent plastic sachets with suspected shabu, P520  in cash in different denominations, and a lighter, from Misamis.

The raid was conducted by virtue of a search warrant issued by Judge Rosendo Bandal Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 34 in Negros Oriental.

Misamis is now detained and charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165,  or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act as amended,  are being readied against him.*JFP
