A construction worker wanted for the killing of his wife and a tricycle driver who is facing homicide charges were arrested at Burgos Street , Bacolod City and in Murcia town, Negros Occidental yesterday and Sunday.
Police identified them as Manolito Bulhano, 41, and Randy Abordon, "alias Bic-Bic", 20, of Murcia town.
Bulhano was apprehended by intelligence operatives of Police Station 1 and Murcia town policemen composed by Senior Police Officer 1 Babe Sulito and Police Officers 2 Michael Ferrer and Felipe Moncatar at about 3:10 p.m. at Burgos Street , Bacolod City.
Moncatar said Bulhano was arrested on the strength of an arrest warrant for parricide issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 49 Judge Manuel Cardinal.
Bacolod City Police Station 2 chief, Senior Insp. Robert Dejucos said Abordon was apprehended at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday in Murcia town by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Eliseo Geolingo, who set his bail at P40,000.
Meanwhile, a man linked to the robbery of a taxi driver in Bacolod City was apprehended by Station 1 policemen at about 9:30 a.m. at Rizal Street , Bacolod City.
Rey Mejica, 39, of ECC Villas Subdivision, Brgy. Alijis, Bacolod was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Cardinal, who set his bail at P100,000.
Mejica was positively identified by Richard Benjamin, 28, of Purok Magnolia in Brgy. 7, Bacolod as the one who robbed him and took his P1,800 in cash, through the Rogues' Gallery of Police Station 7.
Benjamin, employed by the Mark Joseph Taxi, said Mejica boarded his taxi in front of the Fil-Am bank at Galo-Lacson Street Bacolod at about 5:45 a.m. on December 14.*APN
