Widower arrested for rape
BY JUDY F. PARTLOW

A septuagenarian widower wanted for rape was nabbed by the police in Barangay Tagino, Vallehermoso, Negros Oriental, recently.

Senior Police Officer 1 Edilberto Euraoba III of the Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office said Teodorico Paradero, “alias Decoy”, 79, and a resident of the barangay, was nabbed at around 4:20 p.m. Nov. 22, by virtue of the arrest warrant issued by Judge Hector Barillo of the 4th MCTC La Libertad-Vallehermoso.

No bail was recommended for his temporary release.

Euraoba said Paradero, who topped the list of 10-most-wanted persons in the town, is now in the custody of the Vallehermoso Police Station and will soon be turned over to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.

NOPPO director, Senior Supt. Edward Carranza, commended the Vallehermoso Police Station, headed by Insp. Neolie Laturnas, for actively implementing the flagship programs of the PNP, including the accounting of Most Wanted Persons.*JFP
