Golez: City will get
share of projects

The House of Representatives recently passed the P2 trillion budget for 2013 and Bacolod Rep. Anthony Golez, Jr. was one of the hundreds of representatives who voted to pass it, a press release from his office said.

“Bacoleños can be assured that Bacolod City will get its fair share of projects from the national budget,” Golez said.

“I can boldly and honestly say that I have done my part of giving my 1000 percent in assuring that projects will be brought to Bacolod City,” Golez said, in the press release.

It also said that Golez recently visited the Office of Undersecretary Parisya Hashim-Taradji of the Department of Social Welfare and Development – Operations and Programs Group to make sure that it will continue its programs in Bacolod City.

He added that Hashim-Taradji assured that the Pantawid Pamilya, KALAHI-CIDSS, Sustainable Livelihood, Supplementary Feeding, Rice Subsidy, Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens, Core Shelter, Assistance for IDPs and Disaster Relief programs will all be continued in Bacolod City.

Golez said that as of September 28, 2012, P31,224,600 have been released to 3,631 beneficiaries for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program in Bacolod City, the press release added.

Undersecretary Hashim-Taradji also thanked Golez for his support in DSWD's programs, the release also said.*
