Sharp I and ON-BACIBA Ladies kept the upper hand of the ongoing Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc. pre-MassKara Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top's Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

The Irnie Diaz-led Sharp is leading the 14-team cast in the men's division with 4,021 pinfalls, closely trailed by Capt. Sammy Gaitan's Barangay I ASSFBI with 3,991. Negros Professional Bowlers Club/LJP Trading headed by Gil Villagante is third with 3,980 balls, followed by Silverado ESD/ASSFBI, 3,948; ESD Triple-C, 3,916; Talisay Silverado ASSFBI, 3,907; Hurricane ASSFBI, 3,906; Mulo Aircon Services, 3,868; Sharp Kamikaze, 3,798; Bago City BACBA, 3,789; Panasonic, 3,768; St. Joseph Alumni Association, 3,751; ESD Amor, 3,719, and NEMA Security, 3,704.

Cora Romero's ON-BACIBA is on top in the women's category with 3,748, followed by Condura Ladies ASSFBI, 3,715; Firefly, 3,583; RR Ladies ASSFBI, 3,456, and Team Justice, 3,335.

Hostilities resume at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the two-day Masskara Open Trio Bowling Tournament unfolds at 2 p.m. Oct. 20. ASSFBI president Edgar Allan Del Rosario said registration fee is pegged at P2,500.* HLG
