Police to get four
new patrol cars

Bacolod City Vice Mayor Jude Thaddeus Sayson yesterday said that the four new patrol cars all valued at P3.5 million will be distributed to the City Police Office before the end of April.

Sayson said that there was a short delay in the purchase of the vehicles because of the bidding process, but everything has already been ironed out.

He said the vehicles are now being remodeled and a detention cell is being installed for apprehended criminal.

Sayson added that the city government purchasing an additional five patrol cars for the Bacolod police.

City Police Director Senior Supt. Ricardo de la Paz said there is a need to purchase more vehicles several police stations in Bacolod have no patrol cars.*APN
