Going organic

buddai

Ramon and May Uy, with their staff, hosted lunch for out-of-school youth of Don Bosco in Alangilan, Bacolod, Saturday.

They served organic products like rice, coffee, vegetables to the youth.

For almost five years now Mr. Ramon Uy, has been into organic products with the encouragement of his wife and their five children Myra, Michelle, Princess, Meagie and Ramon Jr.

The owner of R.U. Foundry has been doing this quietly helping people to do the right thing in agriculture by using organic methods.

He donated some seedlings, allowed free use of shredders, and taught the children the use of the vermiculture method for the fertilizer requirement of their vegetables.

For the first time the sixty-niners were present to celebrate at Kai Sei and to enjoy reminiscing on the yesteryears. Special guest was B-Bong Rodriguez who is leaving soon for Caribbean Tour with his children. During our celebration, Eli Tajanlangit and his group’s were to lunch on another table.

Remember: Morning is a sign of God’s great love for us. Let us be thankful that we are given a new day to share this love with special people in our hearts.*
