Police intelligence operatives arrested 16-year-old girl in a hotel room in Dumaguete City on Wednesday, for allegedly having suspected prohibited substance and illegal drugs paraphernalia.

The girl,  a resident of Barangay San Miguel in Bacong town and a student in a  school in Dumaguete City, has  a previous police record for alleged rugby sniffing, police said.

Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen who called the police hotline, police intelligence agents went to the pension house near the Capitol and found the girl allegedly in the act of using the illegal drug.

Police confiscated a transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, a tooter, tin foil and four disposable lighters and a pair of scissors from the minor, that was turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.*JFP
