Batch ’89 continues
to win in kegfest

Batch ’89 continues to win in the Bacolod City High School/BCNHS Pre-Alumni Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

After six rounds of action, Batch ’89 is leading in the 17 teams with a total score of 8,907 pinfalls followed by Class ’74 with 8,721.

The Batch ’89 team, composed of sparkplug Albert “Nonoy” Hulguin, Maila Balayo, Noralyn Lamis, Benjie Bagayo and Evelyn Ladiona holds the record for the team’s highest single and triple with 557 and 1,574, respectively.

The other teams and their corresponding output: Class ’79, 8,606; Batch ’90, 8,501; Class ’72, 8,434; Class ’76, 8,385; Class ’73, 8,350; Class ’81, 8,175; Class ’85, 8,148; Class ’67, 8,130; Class ’84, 8,019; Cluster, 7,989; Class ’68, 7,859; Class ’70, 7,671; Class ’88, 7,543; Batch ’92, 7,330, and Batch ’91, 6,136.

Tournament record holders are Jonathan David (Class ’93) in the men’s highest pinning with 93; Jose Sansing (Batch ’84) in single with 139, and Hulguin (Batch ’89) in triple with 366.

Jane Trocio (Batch ’84)sparked the women’s pinning with 89, while Marlene Cardinal (Cluster) and Juliet Regollo (B’74) in single and triple with 139 and 344 apiece.
