Cops nab ‘pusher’
in drug buy-bust

BY JUDY F. PARTLOW

A suspected drug pusher was arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental, Tuesday.

Roberto Bahandi was nabbed by a team from the Sta. Catalina PNP, led by police chief, Sr. Insp. Rogelio Pacificar Jr., in Sitio Sicopong, Barangay Caranoche, after he handed a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange for P500.

Seized from Bahandi were two transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 marked bill, about P1,700 in cash, and a .45 caliber pistol with a magazine containing four rounds of live ammunition that was in a holster, police records show.

Bahandi is now detained at the lockup cell of the Sta. Catalina PNP, and charges for illegal possession and sale of prohibited drugs are being readied against him.*JFP
