The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. will conduct line maintenance activities from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow, a CENECO press release said.

CENECO will replace two defective current transformer units at Calumanggan Substation, Calumanggan, and rotten poles at Brgy. Busay, all in Bago City. It will also trim trees covering Calumanggan Feeders 1 and 2, the press release said.

Areas affected are Calumanggan Substation to First Farmers Aqua Ventures, Crossing Kamatis, portion of Brgy. Sampinit, Brgy. Busay, Ma. Morena, along Highway to Calumanggan Substation to Aguirre Rice Mill, Brgy. Calumangan, Brgy. Taloc to Bacolod – Bago boundary.

Affected member-consumers are advised to turnoff their electrical switch/es during the power interruption for safety reasons.

When electricity supply resumes, they must wait about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
