Security guards claim benefits
from agency, bank after dispute

Seven security guards of Visa Security Agency and General Services assigned at the branches of Green Bank Inc. received yesterday their claims that totaled P654,752.41, the Department of Labor and Employment said in a press release.

Region 6 Labor Regional Director Ponciano Ligutom ordered the release of claims after the Green Bank Inc. deposited the amount with the cashier of the DOLE.

Visa Security Agency and General Services is a Mindanao-based agency that has a contract with Green Bank Inc. in its branches at Bacolod, Silay, and La Carlota City, the press release said.

The DOLE order was based on the result of the labor inspection made from a complaint of the security guards against their agency and Green Bank Inc. for their unpaid benefits, the press release said.*
