The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. said in a press release yesterday that it will conduct maintenance activities from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow.

Electricity consumers are reminded that in case of brownouts, electrical switch/es should be turned off for safety reasons, the press release said.

When electricity supply resumes, they must wait about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.

For the specific affected areas of the maintenance activities, CENECO telephone numbers are 1621, 709-1256, 709-1257 and 435-3640 to 55 local 259, the press release said.*
