PNOC-EDC expands
programs on health

The Philippine National Oil Company-Energy Development Corporation and the Valencia local government, Oriental Negros conducted yesterday free medical dental services to residents in the town.

Dwight Maxino, manager of PNOC-EDC, said the firm is committed to maintain a healthy community and environment, especially in the host barangays of Valencia.

He added that programs involving community outreach are part of the corporate social responsibility of PNOC to the community.

Maxino also said every quarter of the year, they are distributing free over-the-counter medicines to the different barangays in Valencia. During his stint, the PNOC has conducted 11 medical dental missions to the different barangays serving hundreds of residents who, he observed, give the least priority to health concerns.

Maxino added that PNOC is expanding its Health, Education, Livelihood and Environment program.*MA
