The National Democratic Front hailed the perseverance of commanders and fighters of the New People's Army in Negros, in implementing the fighting tasks ordered by the Communist Party of Philippines, to advance the protracted armed revolution.

NDF-Negros spokesperson Frank Fernandez also salutes the NPA revolutionary martyrs who offered their lives in line of battle.

“We must continue their strong revolutionary standpoint, viewpoint and methods and persevere more for the past development and solid advance of the revolutionary cause,” Fernandez said.

He also said that the NPA in Negros island marked its 43 rd founding anniversary on March 29, with great significance.

Fernandez, in a statement, said the NPA is tempered, strengthened and accumulated gains, despite the brutal military campaigns of the military and police by the past and present government administrations. *GPB
