Mayor Jose Montelibano will officially declare the start of the Charter Day celebration during the program after the walk, followed by the “Hugyaw Sayaw sa Plaza” to be led by the Silay City Health Office, the press release also said.

Activities in the celebration, on the theme “I Am Proud to be a Silaynon’, are the volleyball mix sports festival to be participated in by government employees; a “Valenciana Agape” where free arroz a la valenciana will be served to visitors going to the 16 mini-pavilions of the Liga ng mga Barangay; a ‘Darling Moms’ presentation; and an acoustic band competition, the press release added.*
