Class ’82 led the premier division, as Class ’65 and Batch ’95 did in category B and C of the ongoing Negros Occidental High School General Alumni Homecoming Bowlfest For Unity 2012 at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.
The Class ’82 bowlers had a total score of 8,741 pinfalls, overtaking erstwhile leader Class ’89 players who fell to fifth with only 8,656.
Batch ’97 became second from fourth with 8,697.
In third and fourth are Class ’66 and Class ’73 with 8,685 and 8,657, each.
Also competing in class A bracket are Class ’84 with 8,427; Class ’68, 8,244; Class ‘54/56/59 Combined, 8,238; Class ’67, 8,191, and Class ’83, 8,189.
Class ’65 is leading in category B with 8,189 followed by Class ’71 with 8,171.
Also lined-up in the same bracket are Batch ’90 with 8,143; Class ’80, 8,138; Class ’70, 8,123; Team ’67, 8,107; Class ’85, 8,096; Class ’58, 8,000; Class ’74, 7,988, and Class ’88, 7,902.
Leading in bracket C is Batch ’95 with 7,849.
Class ’62 was second with 7,835, and Batch ’91 is third with 7,785.
The other competitors are Batch 2000 up Combined 7,782; ’75 Sec., 7,775; Batch ’92, 7,614; Class ’77, 7,592; Batch ’98, 7,583; Class ’87, 7,469, and Class ’75, 7,254.
Class ’73 and Class ’66 had the team’s highest single and triple with 546 and 1,560 apiece.
The tournament’s individual record holders in the men’s division are Class ’73 bet Hernand Garciniego in highest pinning with 97, while teammate Felipe Boy Romero Jr. had the highest single and triple marks with 147 and 367, respectively.*HLG
