BBC Amazing ’09 tops
team standings

Undefeated in the first round, frontrunner BBC Amazing ’09 will face Batch 2008/Shakey’s tonight at 7:30 p.m., as the second round of the elimination in the 4th USLS Alumni Association/LNA7 Sports Foundation Basketball Tournament at the West Negro University Gym.

BBC claimed the top spot in the team standings with an unblemished 5-0 win-loss card, while Shakey’s is at No. 2 with 3-2.

In tonight’s second game, Batch 2007/2010 will try to improve its 2-3 record when it clashes against winless Batch 92/96/2005/POOCH Spa-JMCA, the latter absorbing its fifth straight loss in the hands of Strollers/Batch 2001/94/95 during the March 16 schedule.

Batch 2001 prevailed, 76-73, with Ceasar Noble topscoring for the team with 12 points, all of them in the second half. Backing him up were RenRen Lacson and Popoy Jamero who finished with 11 points each.

JC Sobrevega led POOCH Spa-JMCA with 10 points, while Tad Caperonce delivered 9 markers and Glenn Trabasas, 8 points.*NAB
