NPBC/RJ keglers paces bowling tilt

NPBC/RJ Stars leads in the premiere division with Davies III and St. Joseph Adventurer’s having the same privilege in their bracket as competition heats up in the Sharp’s Christmas Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

NPBC/RJ Starts headed by Steve Po, led with 1,715 points followed by Cecil Silverio’s ASSFBI Silverado with 1,713.

Mulo Car Aircon of Romulo Ramos had 1,686; Davies I, 1,672; Sharp, 1,632; TNT Construction, 1,624; Davies II, 1,603; ESD Electronz II, 1,589, and Kami Mga Hubin, 1,585.

In the non-rated bracket is Davies III of Edgar Jerez and Romel Jover had 1,735 points, while St. Joseph D’Adventurer’s in the women’s had 993.

With Davies in the same division are FRM Marketing, 1,702; Manila Bulletin/Phil. Daily Inquirer, 1,676; RJPL, 1,618; Bago City Bowlers, 1,606; Metro Sales, 1,600; Flores Team, 1,582; Canvil Knights, 1,571; ESD Electronz, 1,567; RJ Stars/NPBC, 1,564; Candles Alimon Steel, 1,552; Haier/SANYO, 1,530; St. Joseph Alumni Association, 1,519; 4-Fun, 1,244.

Joining D’Adventurer’s in the women’s category are Condura ASSFBI Ladies, 972; Tiger Eye, 937; Davies Fusion, 892; Panasonic, 890; RJ Stars/NPBC, 887; Racahe/ON-BACIBA, 799, and Kami Mga Gwapa, 774.

Action will resume at 6:15 p.m.

The Sharp’s organized Non-rated Trio and Rated Single Bowling Tournament will be held Nov.30 at the same venue.

Gift certificates are at stake for the winners and entry fee is P500.

The three-day NSL Non-rated Trio Bowling Championship will be on Dec.4, 6 and 11 at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The top three squads with the highest scores after three outings will vie for the top prize in an up-the-ladder system on Dec.13.

The champion will receive P7,000 worth of gift certificates, while the first and second runners-up have P5,000 and P3,000, respectively.
