Javellana inducts WNU alumni

Carlos Javellana, president emeritus of the Southern Negros Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., was the guest speaker and inducting officer of the West Negros University Alumni Association Inc. held in Bacolod City recently.

Javellana said theirs alumni association brings together former classmates and strengthens the bond of friendship. “We renew our commitment to live by the ideals of our University founded on moral values, discipline, integrity, service and commitment to community. We make true this commitments as we pursue our career or jobs. In our own way, we strive to touch the lives of our fellow men, especially the less fortunate and underprivileged,” he said.

WNU-AAI officers for 2012-2014 inducted into office were Jay Reuben Delfin – president, Dr. Nony Descutido – vice president, Dr. Victoria Cainglet – secretary, Dr. Joel Valencia – treasurer, Cresencio Abunda Jr. – auditor, Ramonito Lastima Jr. – business manager, Samuel Montoyo – public information officer.

Members of the board of directors are Dr. Suzette Lilian Agustin, Dr. Edilleon Isidto, Dr. Roselyn Alegarbes, Calvin Hinolan, Edgardo Agtoto, Reynaldo Depasucat, Roger Piansay and Felicito Madalag.*
