Fetus flushed in toilet
BY ADRIAN NEMES III

An unidentified woman flushed a fetus in a toilet bowl at a restaurant in Brgy. 6, Bacolod City, Saturday.

Employee Thelma Derla said that when she entered the toilet at about 6:30 a.m. she found the toilet bowl clogged and reported it to the owner of the eatery.

The eatery owner, Neneng Aragon, said that when the toilet bowl was being fixed, they found that a fetus had caused the clogging.

City Police Women and Children’s Complaints Desk chief, Insp. Jovy Cabcaban, said she believes that the fetus could have been aborted somewhere and brought to the area for disposal as no bloodstains have seen at the toilet where it was found.

Cabcaban said that it would be impossible for them to identify the person who had flushed the fetus because the employees of the restaurant could no longer remember who had entered the toilet.

The fetus has been buried at Burgos Public Cemetery in Bacolod City.*APN
